Ø Boys J.V. – 4 Quarters (8 Minutes a Q) (5 vs. 5)

o ALL DIVISIONS
· If a team does not have enough players to start the game by game time, 10 additional minutes will be put on the clock to wait for a 5th player. If no-one shows up after the 10 minutes is over, the game will be forfeited and it will result in a scrimmage game!
· Clock runs all game until the last 2 minutes of the 2nd Quarter and the 4th Quarter for every division.
· Clock stops only when a team is attempting free throws INCLUDING Technical Free throws. Clock will also stop on Time-Outs.
· If 5 Player fouls is received, the player is out for the remainder of the game including over-time
· 7 Team fouls is a 1&1 free throw attempt
· 10 Team fouls is a Double Bonus which is 2 free throw attempts
· Each team is given 2 time-outs per half that are not carried over to the 2nd half or overtime. Each timeout is 30 seconds
· Any off the ball fouls will consist of 2 shots and the ball for the opponent.
· If a technical foul is given to a coach or a player, the opponent gets 2 free throw attempts and ball on the side.
o PRESSING RULES
· Boys Jr. Freshman Division – No pressing UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE OF THE 4th
· Boys Freshman Division – No pressing UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE OF THE 4th
· Boys JV Division – No Pressing 1st Half, Second Half is allowed
· Boys Varsity – Pressing ALL Game is allowed
· Boys High School – Pressing ALL Game is allowed
To allow for fairness, because there is no pressing in the Boys Jr. Freshman and Freshman Division, ONLY IN THE LAST MINUTE of the 4th quarter, I will allow pressing! This rule adjustment is for the better. We have to give the young divisions a chance at the end of tight game. To battle all game and to watch a child hold the ball at the end of the game because of no pressing and no way to foul is not a good way to end a competitive and exciting game for the players, coaches and parents!
OVER TIME RULES
v 2 additional minutes is put on the clock for each over time it takes to end the game
v Clock will stop with 1 minute to go at every dead ball
v Each team will have 1 time-out in over time and if there is any unused time-outs at the end of the second half, they do not carry over into over-time
v If there is still a tie after the first overtime, a second 2 minutes will be put on the clock with each coach getting 1 time-out a piece.
v If there is still a tie after the 2nd overtime, it will go to sudden death. First basket will win. Both coaches will have no time-outs and the timeout from the previous overtime does not carry over.
